Well it's that month of the year and the day of the month for my kiddos school family day. For the past 3 years we used the same venue and this year I kind of hoping that they change it for just once but they did'nt. I think the school can find some other places and consider it for next year...plus a new program as well maybe? We'll my kid's does not mind that their family day is always held in the same venue as long as they're with friends/classmate and there's a place to run around. But maybe, just maybe they could be happier if it will be in a new place next time, I could be happier! Hehe

We did't join any games today and we even did not able to join the lunch since we needed to go home early. We just took some photos and left. Yep, we were last to arrive and early to leave.

Supposedly, we'll go straight home but the kiddos requested that we eat first. How can we refuse when they agreed to go home early even they still wanted to stay with their classmates. So, we had our lunch first.
My girl asked for noodles and my boy asked for grilled beef and the nanay and tatay were also drooling for the food that we left on the table of our tent so where to go? Eat all you can Shabu Shabu and grill!!!

owen had their field trip to a pet shop yesterday. i gave him money as advised by their teacher for something he might wanted to buy inside.
he was so excited last night when i came home showing me what he bought. a FISH! a gold fish. i noticed the stomach was already big, i knew right away that it was overfed. he and rinoa might have enjoyed putting the flakes the whole day. poor fish, i knew it's not going to live another day.
owen upset voice was waking me up this morning. i knew it. "limay" is dead. owen named it after their ate lita and maykee.
owen and rinoa experienced it for the second time. the first time, the fishes amazingly lived for almost two weeks in a small bowl (fishes that i bought very cheap along the road). they were also upset that time but i told them they were already old so we cannot stop them from dying. i bet they forgot what i told them before. owen was asking me this morning why his fish died. i told him that it ate too much, and it became ill then died. sigh, thanks that there was no follow up question. bakit nga ba mga goldfish can't stop eating when they're already full? they just keep going 'til they become ill and eventually die.:D
but kids are pretty amazing, they have this ability to bounce back from everything. just get through an hour or two. give them something else to get busy and they forget all about it.
after her diagnostic test...a week before classes were to start, she was everyday asking to go to school and meet Teacher Krissel...she was equally excited as her kuya before and they are both still...hope this attitude never fades!:)
completed his first year level in pre-school. he received an award for being "ATTENTIVE"

she woke up early morning knowing it was her birthday. i asked her what does she wants when i get home. she clearly said she likes, cake, ice cream, chocolate, balloon, and specially orange. i never knew she grown to like orange that much. so i got home 9pm already and as usual they were running to greet mommy. taking out from the car all the requests and Owen start singing happy birthday to Rinoa. and for a plus i bought jollibee through drive-thru and that made Rinoa shout Jollibee!!!(katakawan obvious..haha). she also liked the dress that happened on my way to pick up her cake. glad also that i bought it. my china eyes looked good on it. she kept thanking me and giving me kisses and hugs the whole time, that, all my week long stress was gone!:)
arrived in DFA too way early before the schedule of personal appearance and so we end up killing time in Fort San Pedro, only a block away. we had our lunch inside, thanks to the parking guard who volunteered to buy our food. we were all day outside and i am glad that the kids are still in good mood till afternoon at the time of passport processing. it was a bad day (miscommunication 'bout time), and a tiring day but a chance to spent time w/ the kids on a working day was worth it. so mommy was smiling at the end of the day!:)

Had so much fun cheering and watching daddies and kiddos playing fun games. Just too bad that my camera was not working. Thanks to Jenny for lending us her camera that we at least have some pic taken.:)

2 weeks long vacation is over and Owen is back to school. my poor rascals didn't get a chance to go out and wander due to my skin illness. it even was the first time that they didn't able to attend a halloween party and get candies!:D the kids love partying...sayang!:(
and so before it was really over i took them out for biking...they even had their siesta too early yesterday. i told them that we are going out after their sleep...they excitedly went to sleep looking forward to this...they really enjoyed the stay that we skipped going to the mall anymore...my rascals simple joy!:)
what a happy day for the kids to end their first semester. everyone were super excited and enjoyed the dancing, the games and the foods (of course not for my boy since he doesn't really eat). Owen surely enjoyed the party. feel na feel niya ang kanyang pagiging Goku. that he even boasted to his little sister when we got home that he won!:) he won the best in costume...weee!lol (pardon me, but just so happy kc naman sakit kaya ng kamay ko katatahi kasi nagloko sewing machine ko...huhu) but anyways it paid off coz i'm so happy because Owen really looked so cute!:)
it was my first event attended as mother in school.
i was very excited to see my son very first performance on stage. the program started at 9:00am and ended nearly 12:00noon. it was a relief that he didn't throw tantrums until the end. Owen did not able to have his breakfast since we left the house too early and at the middle of memo basket making, he was like getting on a bad mood already so i had my finger crossed.:D well, he even did a good job there..:P proud nanay syempre!;)
Aug 30, 2009 - Owens Birthday!
falls on a weekend and so we decided to spend it overnight in a beach resort just an hour away from cebu city. i actually asked the celebrant what he really wanted, a beach or a swimming pool, he answered "beach and swimming pool!" and so the nanay was over gaga on the net looking for a beach resort and found El Salvador!:)
the kids had a very good time in the place. swimming all day, running back and forth to the beach side and to the pool, the ice cream and sagot gulaman (iced tea w/ circles as Owen called it:D) anthony and i as well enjoyed the stay...seeing the kids having a good time, the detoxing 20mins sauna (that was the first time that we had it in the same room:D), the 1hour energy replenishing massage and the coco restaurant facing the sea where we indulged ourselves to its sumptuous foods at syempre ang big consolation is that they have wifi which made the resto my hubbys haven at that time...lol
i didn't plan of having a party at school since his bday fall on a weekend...but apparently i still gave him one!:) he knows when is his bday and on his own words he kept on reminding me that he wants to have a party w/ classmates...and so here was it...my effort paid off with his "thank you mommy" and with the happiness i saw in his face while his classmates are singing happy bday to him...showed that he is really fond of t. krissel, school and classmates...:)
daddy got a very early meeting w/ US and since i was awake since dawn i woke up the kids and went with him. it was a nice sunrise after a cloudy week. matgal tagal na din ndi naaarawan ang mga kids, they'd enjoyed jogging with me, fave talaga nila eh running...:D suko kami ni Owen kay Rinoa...we were just already walking but Rinoa still kept on running...finally she stopped when i got them breakfast from jollibee...but after eating takbo ulit! kaya naman when we got home just an hour after eh bagsak na ulit sa kama ang mga bugoy...hehe
we are staying here in Cebu for one year now this august and this was the very first party the rascals attended.:) actually there were 2 invites before but then if not the little rascals are not feeling well, it's the big rascals...:D
the kids were super enjoy with the games and the clowns...Owen won two games while Rinoa always gets consolation price for being a panggulo in the game...not only the kids did enjoy the party, me and anthony as well of course as it is always nice to see old friends...nice to see you again Alex!:)
Rinoa did explored the place and tried out every rides inside more than her kuya, rinoa is really a daring and adventurous little girl, alang katakot takot at alang kapaguran! Owen just tried each ones then stayed in the firing balls the whole time.
after they got tired and got hungry, we had our dinner at Tsiboom.:)
