Loving Nicholas Sparks

I'm sure it will be another hit of Nicholas Sparks. I can't wait to see this movie. I re-read this book because I saw that the movie is coming out soon. I’m not much of a reader or into reading novels like others that having their favorite authors and can finished a thick novel like for a day or two. I am a frustrated reader, a wannabe, I want so much to be like those voracious reader I know but I can't hardly read 10-20 pages in one sit, first 5 pages still fine, the next pages, I really get so sleepy and end up dreaming about the characters instead. ahaha. One book takes me month to finish, so how can I possibly wish I can be called one of them. *lol*

Oh, I was a reader back then in highschool. hahaha. Addicted with those pocketbooks and komiks kina Tiya ... (nakalimutan ko na tambayan namin ah). I thought if I was really into it or it was just because everyone (if not, mga barkada ko) does. But after my highschool days I never found myself reading this things in college. Not until I've watched Message in a Bottle. This is the movie that I remember left my eyes sore from crying, heartbroken and constantly giving me a heartache each time I recall straight for two weeks. Promise! This is also the movie where I loved Kevin Costner the most.:) I've learned the movie was an adaptation from Nicholas Sparks novel, and that was the beginning of me loving Nicholas Sparks. And I’ve been hooked on him ever since. From then I find myself waiting for his new release. I turned out collecting all his novels and I am proud to say that even it took me months to finish each one, I tried and struggled(?) to read all of it. ahahaha. For the sake of Loving Nicholas Sparks!:)

I admire Sparks ability to capture true love at its best. He sets out to write an original love story with a poignant ending, one that generates genuine emotion. Yung tipong ang sikip ng dibdib mo after reading/watching but all together still happy. I am a fan of tragic love affair movies. I like them better than the usual romantic happy-ending movies because the love here is always mixed with pain and hence, more emotionally intense. I like to be carried away by that type of thing. Yes I really do.:D

Owen turned 3!

I was feeling a bit guilty for rushing ourselves going here in Cebu. It was about two weeks before my eldest birthday. And to think we could have delayed our moving here and have Owen bday celebration in Manila. I'm a fan and really enjoy children s party. Though too often I also think this as sort of social obligation. But still I wished I got to prepare a small party back home with his playmates and close family friends.:(

Owen turned Three last Aug 30. Though he certainly enjoys being the center of attention, with Papa here, Daddy, Mommy, Rinoa and yaya nanay is sufficient to fill that need. All the better when there is yummy cake and ice cream to eat!^-^

We just dined out at SM Tastes of China, yummy crazy crepes for our dessert, strolled around the SM new wing, and done short gaming session. Back to our house, there he blew three, four, five times his candle I think. Repeatedly sayin "B-Day Owen, Owen bday, blow candle!"^-^ At least he was aware that it was his bday diba?hehe Without the nakasanayang dami ng pipol around, plyamates and of course gifts! (and oh thanks pala sa mga bumati on the day of his bday! bestprend Glady's u r d best!;D, at sa mga late bumati eh better late than never ika nga!*lol*). At ayun tinapos namin ang gabi ng bday ni Owen playing table tennis. As if marunong na ang bugoy..hehe.

Rinoa's 1st Plane Ride

082908
Rinoa's turn!:)
I have been looking forward to the time I would able to ride on an airplane with my two rascals, but that wasn't possible. You know what I mean, with mine in one flight would be such a disaster.

Our flight was in the afternoon 14:55. The airport taxi arrived 15 minutes before 7am, 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier to our scheduled pick-up time of 8am. We left the house at exactly 8am. "8am ang sabi ko diba?" "yes po mam, maaga lang po talaga kami kapag pik up" di naman sadya talaga lang na I've done preparing everything sakto 8am buti ndi ako nalate. haha. We arrived in Naia 3 Terminal after 20 minutes dropped off in Cebu Pac Cargo (we got 7 boxes this time, way heavier than our first:D Anthony didn't know since he won't allow me if told him that I've d only got toys. sayang naman kc makalakihan lang ng mga bata not using at nastock lang sa bahay.hehe).

While at the airport Rinoa ran around as expected. She said "hi" plus wave to everyone she came across and tried to play with other childrens’ toys. We had our "not so" wonderful meal and "not so" messy one. hehe. Hayz..yun lang!lol. And the next four hours was a very exhausting one for me and her yaya but an exciting and enjoyable play of hers to this very big Naia 3 playground.haha. Running around, talking with everyone she ran across, blabbing with just everything she see, sitting around, mopping herself on the floors and there was no way you can stop this 18mos little rascal!

Then it was finally time to board the plane. By this time it had come very close to her normal siesta time and she was starting to be a little grumpy. Reason also why I booked this flight. We finally got onto the plane and found our seats. As we settled in, my Noa looked around with confusion. She did not seem to know if she should be excited or scared. She sat on my lap and looked out the window. Tapos yun, as if ako yung super excited, I'd point to other airplanes outside the window and she would follow me sayin " Woww airplane..bye!" :) When the plane began to move she grew excited sayin "huh?huh?" to the noise it was making. She got her tiny cute bag with the candies ready for earpopping situation, and so I didn't worry.:) Sure enough, it took less than 5 minutes after the take off for my Noa to settled down in my lap and sleep.^-^

I'm proud of myself - may ganun? I handled it very well if I do say so.. twice!! But of course I'm proud immensely of my two babies. And believe me the solution for a happy flight is SLEEP!! Get them so tired that by the time you have to get on the flight he/she will be dying to sleep. And also booked a right sched timely for their sleeping time.:) So the secret to a peaceful flight is SLEEP :) .... LOL

Goodbye Manila, Hello Cebu!:D

Because of a sudden restructure in Anthony's company, his appointment to handle Cebu site delayed for months. We were already in a situation of loosing the interest while we count the days, the months, only until first week of August that it finally came into light. Anthony called me and said that his appointment was finally confirmed. Though something were changed from originally agreed, we decided at once to accept the offer. Frankly because, we believe that we could be able to achieve something faster here in Cebu than in Manila. Plus the thought of living in a new place, new environment, new people give us both the feeling of excitement and anticipation to the new things we are going to experience. It will going to be a new chapter of adventures in our life.

Everyone was asking me, how can you decide so easily on a big thing like that? It is me, I am always looking forward on something new, I love change. As stressful as change is and as much as I can complain about how it stresses me out, deep down I love it!^-^ Any change, good or bad, forces me to rise to its challenge. A wonderful opportunity, another chance to surprise myself. I feel like there is still so much I can do in this life, and I won't let chances slip away when it pass on me. I will try anything, life is to short not to.^-^

We arrived here in Cebu August 17. We booked in Richmond Plaza Hotel for 4 nights. First day was spent choosing/looking for a place to live. Second and third day, spent purchasing the necessary things to fill out the house. Later as I finished this blog and go to sleep, as we wake up in our hotel room in the morning, and we checked out, this will be the day of realized change.

As I had hoped, we were able to find a house that at least meet mine (in consideration with the kids) and Anthony (in consideration to his hobby) standards. hehe. Everything already delivered in the house except the ones with us. Everything is still boxed and I am hoping we could able to finish everything before my coming back to Manila on Saturday to get my youngest and her yaya.

I feel excited about our new found haven.^-^ It's not over yet, of course. There's the town, which I have to learn to get around, and there's neighbors to get to know. This is just the start and first page of the new chapter. And I look foward to what is next, to all of it!.^-^

Owen 1st Fly w/ Cebu Pacific

This was Owen first plane ride. 081708
Our flight schedule was at 6:35am. We dropped off first some of our baggage at Cargo station Manila Old Domestic Airport so we can avoid the excess baggage charge and to do so we need to get there earlier than our flight so we can get it same time we arrived in Cebu. We arrived at New NAIA 3 Terminal 5 hours prior our flight. Too much time for Owen to wander around the huge newest world class terminal in Manila.^-^

As I looked at Owen while running around the place, as expected, I was kind of worried if he can manage himself settled down on his seat for 1 hour but I was more worried about the popping of the ears during take off and landing. Though I brought along his favorite shape sorter and his write and erase that might hold his attention and snacks too for earpopping situation, I cannot help myself but to worry.

Nakahinga lang ako ng maluwag after the take-off, he was just looking around the place and checking everything infront of his seat. And after excitedly watched the clouds outside the window ayun natulog na! Pagod! Imagine that the long five hours that we waited for our flight he was just running around the terminal. Lalo the walkalators, he enjoyed it so much! 50 rounds siguro nagawa niya...lol. Sleepy eyed na siya pero pinipigilan niya kasi sabi niya "Owen plane ride Owen" haha, ang kulit kulit everytime may inaannounce plane for boarding...he'd continuously say that. People were looking at him dahil sa ingay niya at naeenjoy na rin dahil sa pabalik balik niya sa walkalator. His expression all the time riding on it was just the same as if it was always his first. Sa pagod namin ni Anthony sa pasalit salit na pagsama sa kanya... we let him rode himself!:)

3ple Date!

The three couples met each other for a triple date last sunday. It's been years since we last have a night out together without our rascals. Kinda missed those days. I do remember our Wednesday nights of bowling, billiards, movies at syempre pa eh ang BeerNights!! Hanging out doing nothing but talk or roadtripping just to sleep in a gasoline station along the road. ahahaha. Pwera pa sa happy nights that we spent together, of course ang aming mga escapades sa iba't ibang sulok ng pinas.^-^ Those were the happy memories of our singlehood...

We were together since college years, more than a decade now. At ito kami ngayon, see how we have fared for the past 10 years. MaBeauty pa din (lol), mahealthy (lol), still sticked on each partners (lol), at syempre pa eh ang aming pagkakacute na rascals!(lol).

And something hasn't changed, ndi pa rin namin alam where to go, like old days. lol. The barhopping that originally planned end up in Fazolis Libis (pasta and pizza na naman, purga na ako this week ah) hehe. After Fazolis, Starbucks at Circle naman. After ang malulutong na halakhakan at mga walang kwentang usapan eh ayun pinalabas na kami ng guard. ahaha. Ndi daw sila 24hrs pag sunday. hehe

I will miss you peeps, pag namiss nyo kami dalaw na lang kayo Cebu ok!?

Me, according to Numerology

I found this site while bloghopping one night. I've heard about numerology, but i don't take it seriously. It's interesting how numbers has power to determine person's personality, strengths and talents, obstacles, inner needs, emotional reactions and ways of dealing others. It's fascinating to me that i felt like trying it out and see if i found something that leads to at least a partial truth or all about me? Wala lang, let's see...

You entered: rowena .... .....
There are 23 letters in your name.
Those 23 letters total to 97
There are 11 vowels and 12 consonants in your name.

What your first name means:
Welsh Female Variant of Rhonwen: Fair lance; fair, slender. Welsh form of Rowena: white-haired
Celtic Female White or comely
Anglo-Saxon Female White haired.

Your number is: 7
The characteristics of #7 are: Analysis, understanding, knowledge, awareness, studious, meditating.
The expression or destiny for #7:
Thought, analysis, introspection, and seclusiveness are all characteristics of the expression number 7. The hallmark of the number 7 is a good mind, and especially good at searching out and finding the truth. You are so very capable of analyzing, judging and discriminating, that very little ever escapes your observation and deep understanding. You are the type of person that can really get involved in a search for wisdom or hidden truths, often becoming an authority on whatever it is your are focusing on. This can easily be of a technical or scientific nature, or it may be religious or occult, it matters very little, you pursue knowledge with the same sort of vigor. You can make a very fine teacher, or because of a natural inclination toward the spiritual, you may become deeply emerged in religious affairs or even psychic explorations. You tend to operate on a rather different wavelength, and many of your friends may not really know you very well. The positive aspects of the 7 expression are that you can be a true perfectionist in a very positive sense of the word. You are very logical, and usually employ a quite rational approach to most things you do. You can be so rational at times that you almost seem to lack emotion, and when you are faced with an emotional situation, you may have a bit of a problem coping with it. You have excellent capabilities to study and learn really deep and difficult subjects, and to search for hidden fundamentals. At full maturity you are likely to be a very peaceful and poised individual.
If there is an over supply of the number 7 in your makeup, the negative aspects of the number may be apparent. The chief negative of 7 relates to the limited degree of trust that you may have in people. A tendency to be highly introverted can make you a bit on the self-centered side, certainly very much self-contained . Because of this, you are not very adaptable, and you may tend to be overly critical and intolerant. You really like to work alone, at your own pace and in your own way. You neither show or understand emotions very well.
Your Soul Urge number is: 11
A Soul Urge number of 11 means:
With the 11 Soul Urge, much of your thinking and interests relate to the abstract, the spiritual, and utopian dreams. You are motivated toward idealistic concepts, and the sharing of your ideas and concepts with humanity. This number is not one that is giving in a material or a practical sense, but rather one who desires to help mankind with a more abstract commodity such as religion, spiritualism, occult studies, or even psychic abilities.
If you possess the positive 11 Soul Urge traits, you have a dream of the perfect world; you are highly idealistic and inspirational. Your inner strength and devotion to your beliefs are extremely strong. You have a very good mind that is especially well equipped to handle the higher, more abstract forms of thought.
If there is an excess of 11 energy in your makeup, you may possess some the negative 11 traits. There is a tendency for the 11 to produce considerable amounts of nervous tension which is bought on by a very high level of awareness. You may be too sensitive and overly emotional. In some cases, these sensitivities and emotions are quite repressed, and this tends to add even more to the sense of nervousness in the makeup.
The strong 11 is not a very practical person because of the extreme idealism; often, there is a degree of self-deception present. There is usually a rather fixed idea of right and wrong held by those showing strong 11 traits, and with this very often is a resulting attitude of inflexibility.
Your Inner Dream number is: 5
An Inner Dream number of 5 means:
You dream of being totally free and unrestrained by responsibility. You see yourself conversing and mingling with the natives in many nations, living for adventure and life experiences. You imagine what you might accomplished.
Am I all of these?*lol*
I was just thinking. Pano if I change my birthname? Am not being obsessed now ha!? hehe.
So what's your numbers??

Manila Ocean Park

A repost. I tried to delete one picture but the whole album diappeared! waahhh!

Ok, redo it!:D

We were there March 25, it was weekday but the crowd was still thick. Grabee pagkasensualized sa place. Onga naman, it is one another beauty you can find in Manila today. Am proud in a way. You don't have to fly to Hongkong or Singapore to see oceanarium now.:) I went there without any expectation since i haven't been in any like one before but excitement. We were one of those people too excited to see it even knowing it is not yet fully finished. Sabi, hotel and mall are going to be available and done by December pa. And i heard that there are also some attractions like boating and so on still on progress. By then, maybe the entrance fee will also get higher. Mahal na nga ngayon pa lang eh. But I think, for me, it is just worth it. It was just another awesome family day out for us. This was Owen and Rinoa first encounter with different marine species except that we also are a petshop goer, this one was different. With their facial expressions and enjoyment touring the place, it was priceless. And just thinking of how to maintain salt water fish was hard, i understand. The entrance fee is just and also it is private owned so we don't have to worry whom pocket will be benefited.:D

Club Manila East 032308

Easter Sunday, after a week long planning on where to go sa pagdating ni Anthony with Allanchu and Jho family.. we end up here in Club Manila East where only 15 minutes away from home. hehe. And Allanchu's in Puerto Galera. Sa sunod na lang tayo magsama sama.:D

We left the house just before 9:00am and headed to CME for a whole day fun under the sun. It was indeed fun to see Owen and Rinoa enjoy themselves...Owen in swimming and Rinoa watching people and wandering the place (takot si Rinoa sa water).:)

Even if Anthony had to do some work during Holy Week vacation, he was still able to spend a very good quality time with his two little cute rascals and equally cute (of course), and equally rascal wife (hehe) before his going back to Cebu in a week time.:)

Holy Week 2008

Our vacation to San Jacinto were cancelled. Anthony can't able to join us from Cebu since he has to be there until black saturday. Sasabay sana kami kay father and lola pauwi ng SJ.

Maunday Thursday, umulan early in the afternoon here in Antipolo. Hindi na sana kami matutuloy papunta sa White Cross. But i sense the yayas still wanting to go on a late afternoon after the rain. So there, and we went!

Good Friday, Cyd bday. Sarap ng byahe namin from Antipolo to Shang Edsa, and Shang to their condo in Kingswood Makati, ang luwag ng daan. Though mga taxi eh kadalasan may mga sakay, hindi naman kami natagalan masyado sa pag-aantay.

Black Saturday, Daddy's home!:)

Easter Sunday, swimming!!!

Rinoa's Christening

Rinoa Siren Ajero Baptismal Day was at last held Septemer 3, 2007 in St. Francis of Assisi and reception in Cabalen. Same day with her Kuya's Birthday Party. She is already 6 months and i think too late for Baptismal but others said just in time.=) I even more thought so because of what happened. She keeps on crying the whole time of the event. My Poor Princess.=( She don't know what to do and where to look. Everyone in her sight was all new to her. And even so irritated maybe because of the long dress. So different the the Rinoa at home who is playfull, happy, and sweet.=)

Rinoa is just getting bigger and bigger. Also getting more and more taray. Sabi nila mana daw sa akin which is not true kasi ako eh sobra sweet ko kaya..hehe. When she is serious there is nothing more could get more taray with her look pero when she is smiling naman there is nothing also to compare...so sweeeet!=) Anyways, there are this two person she loves most! syempre ako at ang yaya niya.=) Favorite playmate, of course her kuya. Yun nga lang you'll time it up to 15 minutes only kc ba naman lagi siya pinanggigilan ni kuya niya though pangggigil ng kuya niya is not violent pero she gets irritated with the hugs and kisses. Kuya Owen niya kasi eh so sweet. Ikikiss siya on the head, on the face, on the lips, even on hands and feet hinahalikan siya ni kuya niya. Siguro nagagaya ang ginagawa namin sa kanya which Rinoa sometimes don't like anymore. But for me at daddy nila when we see them like that, we are just the most happy parents in the world.

Enough with the kwento here are the pictures of the event. Thank you for all the visitors who made it in the party. You have just made the day so special for us and made it a successful celebration. Luv u pipol!=) TFL!

Owen's 2nd Birthday was held in KFC Antipolo same day with Rinoa's Baptismal day. A very tiring day but a successful one whole day celebration. Grabee kapagod! We started the day at 6:00am and ended at 10:00pm. From church at 11:00am, to Cabalen for lunch, to our house for those who were not in Cabalen and finally to KFC at 5:00pm. Sobra thankful kami sa mga dumalo simula sa simbahan hanggang sa party ni Owen. The presence, the gifts and the effort, it was very much appreciated. You made the day really special for us.:) Above link are the pictures at the party. TFL!

Our son turned 2 years old last August 30 and he is really growing so fast. Our little baby is getting to be our little boy so soon. He is now 3 feet tall and said to be very tall for his age. His pedia said normally the height at 2 years old will be doubled when he grow up. Six footer he will be!? And a basketball player he will become indeed!.:) Yup I dream of him to become a basketball player.

2 years old now and already can speak few words( few as in! kasi sabi nila ibang bata daw at this age eh madami na sana nababanggit at malamang sabi din nila eh nalilito siya on what language to speak, bisaya, ilonggo, tagalog o english so kailanagn eh isang language lang dapat ang ginagamit namin kapag kausap siya=)) My most favorite is when he is calling me "Memi" (mommy) while giving me a hug. So sweet...:) At his age now, we already see him being a good kuya. He never fight back each time his baby sister get hold of his hair. Instead, always hugging and kissing and it is so nice to see.

And also Owen now is already showing an interest in writing. Everytime he sees a paper..automatically he would find a pen and start scribling ( oh and he knows now also to draw a circle!). That is why we are already planning to send him to a play and learn school by next school term and at the same time he could already practice his speaking.

1ST DRIVING LESSON

1. CLUTCH, BRAKE, ACCELERATOR, GEAR and STEERING WHEEL

2. Step on the CLUTCH.

3. Put into the 1ST GEAR.

4. Slowly loosen the CLUTCH while slowly stepping on the ACCELERATOR (to make the car move).

5. Don't take off the foot on the CLUTCH when need to BRAKE.

After we went back from the movie, we watched Oceans Twelve. Yap! That was why we slept almost 4am in the morning today. My baby taught me the basic of driving. My husband let me drive up to six meters. Forward… backward… Yeheyy! Know now how to start, and make it move. It is enough for me in my first lesson. Mamaya uli….

Got to sign out. It is already my 7th post of the day. Haha! A hyperblogger am I today.

Tuesday With Morrie

Hay sa wakas I finished the TWM today. hehe actually it should be a short read novel with 192 pages. I started it a month ago. I think it just didn't get much of my interests that made me finished that long. It is so predictable. Of course the man is going to die, but I mean nothing is new, nothing is deep, nothing we haven't heard before. This book really is a reminder of life's lesson but they're lessons we already knew. Then addition to that was the page summarizing the contents is another thing. Really a spoiler I think.

Actually, it doesn't really take much to make me cry unlike my one friend Erika. Haha sabagay eh sobra babaw naman kc ng luha nun! But I do admit it is touching and emotional. I admired the relationship between a previous professor and a student. It is still a good read anyway. J

mY IST 2005 wEEKEND

On my first weekend I supposedly have a badminton play with my officemate. Instead I worked all day on cleaning. I got the laundry completely caught up, the sheets changed and our room rearranged to made a space for the new computer my husband is buying. After I cleaned out the room, I organized our storage space on our cabinet. As one friend said that this year of the rooster, all old things are no good to reuse so I emptied out our cabinet. Haha! Joking!

Before our plan going to Baguio, I no longer have time to clean our room. Didn't able to fold anymore our clothes from laundry shop so it was left and everything dumped in our room sofa. Tambak lang ng tambak. Hehe. When we got back from the province this is the room and I almost not wanted to come in. Other than because it is a really a messed up, the thought of cleaning it was making me tired already.J

speaking of camera...

I MISS my CAMERA DESPERATELY that is all. Bought it May last year. As a photo addict. I really like to make pictures and this past two weeks i really feel its absence. My husband brought it last week to the sales center and until now there no findings why it suddenly didn't function right after we went back from baguio. And because there is no service center here in Philippines, it brought to Ortigas Columbia Service center where is the service center tied up in sales center here. Sure it is that it will count maybe at least a month before i see it again. All was left with me is its docking station.HuhuL

how about our new year?

We arrived in San Jacinto Masbate, my hometown December 31. At that night my high school teacher and a mother of my high school classmate invited us for a dinner together with my other high school classmates. After the dinner and short talks, we went home to celebrate the New Years at Home with my family. As always it was a grand affair for the family. It is only the time of the year that our family of seven is complete. Eight, add my husband now. J We love to get together during December Holidays either xmas or new year. And the New Year is not complete without of our mother putting coins in every corner of the house and steps of the stairs. I remember when we are still young this is the part that we are really waiting for. We are all after on finding and collecting all those coins right after the clock reach 12:05. But this time, our younger sibling has it all. Wala na siya kaagaw. Haha! (He is 6years old). And of course as always, the lighting of firecrackers.
But there is one thing that gets me in the bad mood this time. Aside of that on that day we arrived, a cyst just appeared on my sensitive part (you know, really it was painful and eiewe J), my camera won't function suddenly. You know that I am a picture addict. Ahhh!! That was really a badtrip. I can hardly walk the whole three days of our stay there. I almost was screaming because of the pain. But in spite of that, I still did not ruined our stay. Gala duon, gala ditto pa rin kami. We still attended our last night get together with my high school classmates before we went back here. I am glad my husband gets along well with them. J

how did we celebrate our xmas?

I know I am posting it a bit late. But I was just feeling like writing today. Actually i tried it from the time we went back from baguio but got no time. Anyways...

We spent 4 whole days and 3 nights in Baguio. We stayed in Brentwood Apartelle. It was the first time we celebrated Christmas alone in 7 years we are together. Our Christmas has always been celebrating with our families. This time we decided to be with each other alone.J

The weather was cold as my husband expected it to be. It made the place cooler in the night till morning. It reached 10 C. It was really a freezing Christmas we have there. Believe it in our four days of stay we only took a bath twice lol. That was how cold that even the hot shower cannot help us. And we both even learned to smoke just to keep us a little warmer every time we went for a night out. Yap, even in Baguio you can find us wandering the streets. We enjoyed the foodtrip, coffee and our every night stroll in Session road.

Christmas Eve! That is me, curled up tightly in bed. Before that, i was waiting for my husband to wake up for our Noche Buena but i ended up sleeping. Shot by my husband. Aiyee! Our Noche Buena! 8pcs of chicken, one whole black forrest cake, fruits, and a 3 pcs of corn which obviously eaten before the xmas eve. hehe. It was already past one in the morning when we woke up. The original plan was we are going to have a kakanin foodtrip in the church right afterr we eat in our hotel. But we ended up both sleeping in Christmas Eve.J

Our whole days of stay were spent discovering the sites of Baguio City.

My favorite? I would say definitely the flower and strawberry farm. Why? haha lam mo na. As a picture addict, I really enjoyed our picture taking there. As the matter of fact I almost used all my sd memory for video clips. Ganda! Even more when the fogs started to cover the field from the distance and the night started to enfold. Did my fashion statement overstated? Nah! Actually that was just the effect of the bandana, and because it was me wearing it. hehehe. Really did i really look that I'm in Paris? haha! Ano kaba that was just only the jacket, bandana and I!

Pissed Off but Glad

Waaahhh!! It was 8:00am the sounds of hammering in our roof wake me up. Shit! Its Saturday and am planning for a good sleep today. My husband and I just got in 3 hours earlier. Kapikon talaga! Nahhihimbing pa kaya ako! Why did our Land Lady just inform us first that there would be a repair today? In that I would not be this badtrip early in the morning.

I tried to ignore it. My eyes still want to close but I can't get back to sleep anymore. So I ended up rolling in back and forth in bed until 10:30am tried to watch TV that also I can hardly understand because of the sounds they are making right at the roof of our room. Hayy!! Wala na! If I knew it, I would have gone to work instead. I have at least lessened my workloads.

So here since can't watch TV, more even can't read. I decided to get online. Anyway one thing made me calm is the thought that finally our roof will be fixed soon. This was already has been our problem since Octber last year. The mini falls in our room, as my husband named it will be gone at last. Nice that we don't need anymore to put a plastic container for the waterfalls in our room when it rains.J

Back to Reality Back to Work

It's now into the 2nd working week of 2005. 1st week of work for me has been pretty hectic. First working week of the year, as expected I had loads of work. And it was just only the start of weeks to follow that will end until 1st quarter of the year. Made me just realized that the holiday season is over. My husband and I had a great Holiday season though I got sick after Christmas until New Year but I handled it anyway. I don't want to spoil our Holiday vacation. With all that high gave to us by Holidays, now its time for both of us to get back to reality and work.L

An Update

I haven't blogged for over two weeks now. Its not that long time though I have so much happenings from last year didn't able to post. And I want it to be here. Like the one about our new found game Paintball and how my husband and I spent our December Holidays. Let us see…I think I need to recap my whole past two weeks so I'll remember.

Tonight I can write. Tatay and Nanay visit his brother in Pangasinan and will stay for a night there. So I can sit with my blog.J They arrived last Sunday, Tatay had to take his general check-up. They scheduled the check up on Monday (yesterday) so we decided to take and show them the lot in Grand Park Place in Cavite, where we are planning to build our house. We went there after our lunch then we proceed to Tagaytay. We took them for a short stroll in Peoples Park. It is seldom that my parents come to Manila together so I was glad seeing them like having a date and taking a pose for pictures together. Away for a while in their work. Iyay!J hehe. We went back to Manila by sunset. Baby suddenly got a craving for the Calamares of Dampa in Paranaque so we decided to have our dinner there. My husbands' undying favorite calamares, halaan soup and my favorite ginataan kuhol made our night.

wHAT'S hAPPENING?

It is always on December. The year just won't go quietly:-(

After the 3 super typhoons that hits our country. Here the tsunami that has created a serious disaster over five countries in Asia. Let be thankful the Philippines saved from it.

We'll Spend New Year with My Family

I went for a sleep to rest a while ago. Woke up around 11:30pm. We are now supposedly on our way going to my province. After we shopped at landmark earlier this afternoon, I got sick suddenly. So ayun napostponed uwi namin ngayon (Dec 29). So we'll be going today instead. This is a tradition for us to spend our December Holidays with my Family in Masbate. Either it is in Christmas or New Year. As of this year, we decided to spend it on New Year.
I tried to check PAL if they still have available flight going to Legaspi City but unfotunately the schedule will open on January 2005 already. They are fully booked until end of the year. It is still a four hours drive to Bulan, we were just thinking about it and also it will going to be expensive. At the back of my mind thanks we do not have a choice but take a bus. No budget for a sudden plan like that. hehe. Hmm..3 days stay maybe will be just enough to answer their longing for us.:-) (Nanay keep on calling since yesterday)

......

12:30am just got home. We had to stay first in Mcdo to kill time over dinner and let the passengers waiting lessen the crowd of mega street. Grabee hirap sumakay…

Sorry don't have an entry yet about our Paintball. Our pics are needed to be resize first before I upload here. Hope can post it tomorrow. I need to go to bed now, since I have so much to do in the morning aside shachoo arrived already and will attend the office for sure.

Today…I do have so much to do in the list. For office, have to make all the payments for pending dues from last month, needed to finalize the quitclaims of resigned employees and have it signed before they come on Wednesday. Have to make the budget for January 2005 and submit it to before our xmas party. Have to prepare our payroll and payments of our 13th month pay that I will enter in the accounts of employees tomorrow.

I have also to start my shopping for xmas gift today. I have not yet bought even a single one. I know I am a way to late already. Sigh. But I know I can manage (I must and need to hehe). Or better yet not to buy anymore gifts…hehe. Pass muna ngayon xmas. Kung pwede nga lang sana eh, matitiis ko kaya? Hindi for sure.J

Siya gud amJ

My Friday

They're so much to blog about our yesterday. That was just a day! But cant make it, I have to go to office by 3:00pm so it will be a quick one.
Friday night we went to MIA. Baby fetched me from the office by 9:30pm I think. We brought some package for Tita Cynths. I was extremely drowsy so I just stayed in the parking lot and had some sleep.
We just love road trip. No questions ask when it comes to that. One of the few things my husband and I can really get along well.J
We proceed to Tagaytay after MIA. We stopped by in Tropical Hut Bacoor to buy some food. Though my husband's hanker for Carlo's Pizza, the traffic will get us to tagaytay dying in hunger for sure. We stayed for an hour and let that ten-wheeler vehicle all passed. It was 1:30am when we got there and we went straight over to Starbucks. It was damn cold and freezing up there! I had a tall hot chocolate, which did not help because I still froze. We left 3:00am and looked for a place to stay overnight.
We planned to go to Sonia Garden in the morning. But I suddenly changed my mind. Good thing Tagaytay Country Hotel was already fully booked. Not practical since we are going to stay for a couple of hours only. It is our wedding monthsary by the way.
Came home at around 4:30am. Woke up yesterday 12noon. Meet up Allanchu and Dyo in PR Malate. And there we start our Saturday in PR, proceed to Paintball in Roxas, SVM Party at night and end it at Mc Café in Makati.
Ok need to sign out now. We'll meet Allanchu and Dyo in Makati Square today after my office. Babyko will visit his office also today. So till my next post about our new found game. I really had fun with this one. Haha can release my anger to baby. Joke! J

I'm Back

I just couldn't sleep. So I ended up here. After those recent entries I made after my Boracay Escapades, I was thinking if I will just delete or leave it there. I don't know how will I start now after that, maybe by just saying... I'm back? Sometimes I get easily thrown up with my emotions. I felt very bad that afternoon (saturday) that made me even more easily bursted out that night. That was not I talking. That was I think my alter ego or shadow self whatever you may call it that night under the influence of alcohol.J My decision? I will leave that entry just it is. Maybe I can lend sometime my page with this friend inside me.J
Now it is me blogging not her.J
Yesterday. Got home 2:30am. It was Wednesday, our regular night out with Allanchu and Dyo. No play, no movie and most of all no beer this time. Allanchu sorry but I think am starting to hate beer now.J Every time I get drunk, that one inside of me tends to overcome me. And am not liking each time "she" comes out. She is weak and that was not me!
Ok back to my Wednesday. We just spent our evening talking over dinner and coffee. After dinner we stayed at first in Dusit Hotel for a while before we proceed to Starbucks greenbelt and killed time until my baby finally decided to go back the hotel.
My husband has to stay at Dusit Hotel for a night for the preparation of IPO launching of new system that held today. FVR and some Ambassador from several countries attended the event . This is the system my husband bragging about almost weeks now. It is his group who made the system. What is that Babe? TM Online Filing? System related to Patent Filing and it can access by all Patent Offices from several countries. Ewan ko tama kung tama ba?J Can't ask him directly now coz he is deeply asleep. When he fetched me from the office earlier, golly he looked so consumed and barely can't open his eyes while talking to me. According to him, the launching was a successful one though there was a technical problem occurred but immediately fixed anyway before the presentation proper began. Muntik na raw siya mabaliw lol!! A Congratulation to you Babe!

tIRED

Waaaaahhhh. I feel that 2005 has really begun now. This week, I've been immersed in a sea of admin/acctng tasks. Trying to catch up on a huge backlog that i thought i might clear over the Christmas/New Year break, but could'nt bring myself to do it. And some things (like quit claims of resigned empl, retro comp, tax returns, closing the books, and what really losing my sanity is budgeting, damnit) really must be done before xmas vacation.
7:30 still in the office. I could curl up under this desk and just start to sleep (but still have a nightout with Allanchu and Dyo). I am tired. I woke up this morning though its saturday with a headache (my head is just going to fall off at any moment). I felt awful, the morning temperature eitherr conducive with me going to work today. I plan very much on sleeping tomorrow sunday:-)
BACKLOG? Ehh i suppose just the idle me thing, i get idle, things build up and it seems too much. Kasalanan mo toh Baby!! I've been busy inlove this past few months. In love in billiards, bowling, nightouts, travel etc ect. Busy inlove with ....? I've been busy getting your time. Busy looking for an activity we can do together. Been so very busy competing with your work. It is too expensive to have your time, do you realized that? Do i really need to spend just to get your time? IyAYY!! i'M BLABBING again...:-( hERE is the complicated me again. Stop me!!
Ahhh!! im tired got to go. My hubby, Allanchu and Dyo just texted me. They are already in megamall.

BORACAY ESCAPADES!!

BORACAY! Globally acknowledged as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. My 2 days stay in this island was entirely an awesome experience. A 3.5km stretch of powderly soft sand of White Beach is the Boracay Premiere Beach. Boracay...I can get enough of you. I shall be back! I Promise!
Read our Boracay Adventure....
GETTING THERE...(my first time in Ferry)
Nov 26 Friday Manila Pier 8 MBRS Virgin Mary. This is the vessel we ride on going to Boracay. This was my first time in ferry. The ship departed the port at exactly 5:00pm. And our overnight 12 hours travel began.
yAP 12hours in the middle of the sea. But trust me on this if you have no problem with a long boat trip, i would suggest it for you. Virgin Mary is actually a big ship and has good accomodations. It has a regular trip every Wednesdays and Fridays and departs at 5pm. You can really save a lot of money compare with the airline rates. And if you are a sea person you'll definitely love watching Boracay as the ship approaching it.
After we put our laugages in our suite room. Everyone did'nt waste time to stroll the whole ship. Seems i am not the only first timer on board:-) Nice ship, great crew, clean diners and most of all clean comfort rooms

After our dinner we decided to kill time on the roof deck before go to sleep. It was so cold but many were there to gaze the beautiful sky that night. We were there with few bottles of beer until i and Dyo got sleepy.

WE'RE ON THE WAY!
We arrived at Caticlan Port past 7:00am. The sky is perfectly blue. It is such a perfect day. I sat quitely in my corner with a dreamy smile. My heart gave a jolt of excitement when i saw the Paradise-like Island of BORACAY as they told. Another 15minutes of boatride
get us directly to the beach. It was high tide and boatmen have to carry us to the shore. Literally carry us for only five pesos:-)). Nyayy...five pesos lang ang bigat ko hehe. What is good being new to the place is that i can look forward to the experience with a child-like anticipation. There is just something so magical when you are a Boracay "virgin" you look at things with so much awe and beauty. That is what i felt from the time my feet hugged the pwdery sand of famous Boracay White Beach.

A shots from the roof deck of the ship. Approaching Boracay Island. I really like the cold wind and warm morning sunlight upthere.

1ST DAY
We settled our things in our respective rooms. We are hungry, but more excited to start exploring the island. We had our lunch to this one restaurant. The food were served right there front of the beach. The food were superb and the service was excellent. After a hearty lunch we went for a stroll around the area of station 2. Found a tatto booth/vendor and we decided to get one:-)

Tattoed for the first time. Look at that butterfly landed on my shoulder. hehe:-) Of course i won't get a permanent, that's only henna. I've been told that it will last for 3 weeks. Hmmm..matagal siya pero go pa rin ako, it is in the hidden part of my body anyway. Why Butterfly? I wanted that ethnic design of sun but my husband picked that design:-(

Don't like it either. Stop now allanchu!!!fine dami nito sa alibangbang. Look at your Dolphin. What happened? it became a dilis hahaha!! Ronnel (my bro) also got one in the arm, a dragon. Dyo was a chain anklet. Each design costs only P100.00 pesos. This shot was while we were having fruit shake along beachfront, waiting for the sunset.

This was shot while we are preparing for our Banana Ride. Look at that COCONUT TREE behind us. That is one of the Landmarks of Boracay Island. Another one is the infamous WILLYS' ROCK. Bad thing we did not get a shot from there. Though we had captured it in video when we do the boating. Willy's Rock is situated in swallow water near Boat Station 1. It is a
castle-like volcanic formation. As have been told this rock facing the beach has stairs leading to a chapel at the top which contains a statue of Virgin Mary. Willy's Rock is the most photographed landmark of Boracay. See.. that was really a bad thing right? When i come back, you will be the first one i'll run to. :-))

BANANA BOAT RIDE!!! Wow! what a ride. Everybody had so much fun with this ride. This was our first water activity on our fisrt day. What is P1,500 for a 30minutes of so much fun.
I still feel the excitement we felt in there. Loved it when
we bumped on that waves that made us all screaming to death.*lol* The more intensed part was when they made the Bananaboat rolled over. As intsructed we all let go. Waaahh sobra sakit ng pisngi ko, felt like i was slapped. My neck, thought i lose my head on that.hahaha! But see the picture,do i seems hurt? Smile parin of course.:-))

THE INFAMOUS SUNSET OF BORACAY. We wait for the sunset while we are having our fruitshake after that wild Banana Boat Ride. How beautiful it is, the sunset started to conquer the horizon. Where the sky and sea joins, the sky bursts of wonderful color. It starts to fade into purple and midnight blue. Night starts to enfold and stars starts to appear like diamond on mignight blue velvet. Some boats in a distance have little lights making them seem like fallen stars twinkling on the ocean. A few restaurants have a special set up of a romantic dinner by the shore with candles and torches. It would have been a perfect opportunity to propose or have a dinner with your love one. I am romantically possesed this time haha! yAY!

We spent our night in bar and billiards. This pics was shot right in the bar. Nightout in Bora is superb. If you want to see people of all sizes and shapes, different natioanlities, machos and sexys, pretty faces and not so pretty this is the place to be. After several games and few bottles of beer. Our first day in Bora was done.
After we had our dinner. I recognized that most of the restaurants here are owned by forigners and offer all sorts of cuisine. The night is young, we've decided to check out the bar scenes. It's amazing how a island so small can offer everything. From soveiner shops, internet cafe, atm booths, photo developing shops, and diving schools.
2ND DAY

A peaceful shot of White Beach at 6:00am. This view stretches the whole 3.5km of the infamous powderly white sand of BORA!
I waked up early that day. I wanted to witness the morning in this island. Peaceful, cold breeze, pumpboats, and foreigners having their morning walk. Sad thing was the sun won't rise as i expected that day. It was windy and the sky was not so clear. There was a tropical depression as i heard someone said.
That 3 people right there won't even moved from their bed when i wake them up. But look alive at last! Babyko, Me Dyo and Allanchu wandering the beach.

After this shot, me and my baby went for a mountain hike. P100pesos/hour. The target was to reached the highest part of BORA and get the overview of the entire island.
Too bad was Dyo can't go on further. Me and My Baby continued, we reached the station 1 and we already passed on two mountain roads. I was too excited to reached the top of Bora but apparently, am to tired and can't pedal anymore. Can't go on any further, so we decided to returned back. It was a nice exercise anyway. Better we rent the motorbike next time. hahaha!!
Brother and Sister a Walk in BORA. My Brother who really is having a very great time. Hahaha!! I can still imagine his face begging to let him come with us. "You will be needing a photographer" one of his convincing lines.:-))
This was shot while we are preparing for island hopping. Our 2nd activity for the day after biking.

But before that we had first our breakfast with this restaurant, a terrible one. I wish can remember the name of the resto to warn you:-) Its a long story but i tell you it was a very worst service we ever encountered.

Forget about that resto anyway. Just after a few minutes, we do not want to waste any more time, so we went to island hopping. The waves are pretty rough that morning. The boatmen told us that we cannot go to other islands with that waves. Soooo sad:-( There are 5 islands according to them that we can dock on. Really too bad that we did not able to explore the caves and nice spots for snorkling and other attractions in that islands.
PUKA BEACH supposedly was one of our destinations. This is the SECOND longest beach in the island. Puka Beach is named after the RARE Puka Shell which according to the experts as the finest in the world.
Without a choice, we went to snorkling just around the one island near the White Beach. Allanchu, Baby, Me, and my Bro Ronnel. Having fun with the water. I can't describe exactly what was under. Just amazed with the variety of colorful fishes under.
Other than the water we also enjoyed the buko. There was this vending bangka just around the water area. Sarappp..
Almost Noon. Boatmen took us to this resort named Nami. There was where we had our lunch. This resort is actually just in the other side of White Beach. Going there, we start waving excitedly to everyone we meet along the way, yes people we don't even know. And people waving back at us:-) I don't know waht with this island that makes everyone so warm and friendly.
After our lunch, we headback to WhiteBeach. Because of the rough waves that afternoon. Water activities was suspended for a while. So we decided to wash first and stroll the other side of the island until water activity resume. Believed it or not, there is a bowling lane on the island. Just that it is not yet computerized and a man is the one actually putting back the pins and rolling over back the balls manually. I tell you kawawa yung mama samin...hahaha!! Naawa ako promise kc i feel the man was getting tired already:-) We finished 3 games.
We also went to the back of the island. We found out that it is the Windsailing and Wind Surfing Station and all other air activities since it is the part of the BORA island that is open sea. It is called Bulabog Beach. It is also where Boracay Rock is situated.
Water activities resumed late in the afternoon. Had so much fun with the jetski. It was my first time to drive one and it was really awesome! This was our last water activity for our last day in BORA. That 2 HOT Men above!? Ohh they were my dates to this Island BORACAY!! *LOL*
That night we decided to have a buffet. Dinner was superb. After the tiring day, the food buffet was a big treat for us. This was our last night, before we knew it our two day vacation were done. There were so much to do in so little time. This is probably the reason why this Island hold a spell for many people.
I waked up the next day with a heavy heart. I shall always love walking by the shore, digging my toes and my feet on the sugar-fine white sand. There is so much you to do with this island. So small yet so rich. The thousand posibilities of this Island makes you want go here again and again and me and my husband are no exception. BE RIGHT BACK BORA!

Waiting...

haha!! wait both of you. Even i cant wait to post our whole Boracay Adventure. It will be a very long post for sure. Are you ready to read it? Whatever the story in the post, you saw it in action anyway. So... let me first post my happenings a few days ago.

Before the recent post. Tuesday, we arrived here in Manila from our Boracay 2 days vacation at 6:30am. Bad thing about it was that i needed to come to the office to enter our employees salary. The plan was after lunch i'll go home and have my rest from that long travel. Badtrip! this Otsuka San and Shachoo has too many requests on that day. Tired, sleepy and feeling like am still in the ferry but had no choice, i needed to to work the rest of the day. Got home 7pm.
Wednesday>> Allan and Dyo won't let our regular wednesday nightout passed. We went in Glorieta and watched National Treasure.

Thursday>> All gov agency were already suspended by Noon. Super typhoon Yoyong was already in motion. 3pm and almost all offices within our building were already suspended and for us waht was it we're waiting for? Hayyy...Needed to call all other Japanese friend companies if they were already suspended their office before Otsuka San finally decided that we also must go home.... at 5pm. eH too late.

Fetched by my hubby in megamall. Wanted to watch Polar Express but I insisted to go home. I want to sleep early. I still did'nt got enough sleep since we got home from bora.
Friday>> Watched Bridget Jones Diary. I like the movie, I love THAILAND!. Hayy when can i ever hear their entire lines loud and clear. Always find it hard to understand British Language:-)

Saurday>> Yesterday. Got a chat with mama zette. I run to the nearest comp shop, our pc still giving me a headache. Shocks is that really for pc games only hah baby?? Pleaseeee.....fix it!!!
We attended Alumni General Assembly in Philippine Christian University. Got a chance to have a little chat with President Suarez and had a one shot pose. Will post the pic later.
After PCU, proceed to Ka Isangs favorite Bulalo, to Makati Coronado Lanes and our last stop Cart Noodle Malate. Got home 2am.

As of today...woke up 10am. My Hubby brought our laundry to laundry shop, i cleaned up our room which i think been already a while since the last time. Included the living room except my bro room hehe:-). Lunch at 3pm and now infront of my hubby laptop blogging...
Ok ok mahaba na naman siya.. haha! lam ko naman kaw lang nagbabasa nito up to the end eh. Lam mona kung sino ka hehe. Sige gawin kona post about boracay natin...wait!

7:30am in the office blogging.
5:30am Brown-out, no tv , no radio. Woke up early need to inform employees if we do have office today. Thanks to Bing who did the work! We have office today..

Yoyong is going away. Still windy and raining. Makes me think that spirits are tailing along with the wind. This super typhoon scared the hell out of everyone. Pray for the victims of the flood (then again it's man against nature, and the latter is uncontrollable). Nagbabawas na naman siya...
