Trip to Toledo City 8.6.09

we were invited to this amazing place in Toledo City, western part of Cebu. the trip was truly another Cebu experience...thanks to you Jenny for inviting us.:) the kids enjoyed everything about the trip. the swimming, kalesa ride, the farm, the dog, the beach, the playground...and of course the company of your kids.:)

me and anthony as well enjoyed the trip, the mountains view while going there is also a plus. not everyday that we can see such scenery...:) and i was even more wowed when we entered the house. a house of antiques! i've never seen so many antiques before and really that was an experience!:)

their house is a lovely seaside home just across the ancestral house. this are some of the pics taken from the house...(if only that it is open to the public house, i could have had taken more pictures...and made another album of it titled...House of Antiques!:)

my new found chicka mate is from Toledo City whom happened to be wife of one of the descendants of Lebumfacil, she invited us to visit their home and since we had a very long vacation last week from school - wed to friday...perfect time to go. Toledo City is in the western part of Cebu, after we've gone to north and south...yes now in western part naman..:D. the city is about 2hours drive from our house.

i didn't plan of having a party at school since his bday fall on a weekend...but apparently i still gave him one!:) he knows when is his bday and on his own words he kept on reminding me that he wants to have a party w/ classmates...and so here was it...my effort paid off with his "thank you mommy" and with the happiness i saw in his face while his classmates are singing happy bday to him...showed that he is really fond of t. krissel, school and classmates...:)

daddy got a very early meeting w/ US and since i was awake since dawn i woke up the kids and went with him. it was a nice sunrise after a cloudy week. matgal tagal na din ndi naaarawan ang mga kids, they'd enjoyed jogging with me, fave talaga nila eh running...:D suko kami ni Owen kay Rinoa...we were just already walking but Rinoa still kept on running...finally she stopped when i got them breakfast from jollibee...but after eating takbo ulit! kaya naman when we got home just an hour after eh bagsak na ulit sa kama ang mga bugoy...hehe

Rascals 1st Party attended in Cebu 7.29.09

 we are staying here in Cebu for one year now this august and this was the very first party the rascals attended.:) actually there were 2 invites before but then if not the little rascals are not feeling well, it's the big rascals...:D
the kids were super enjoy with the games and the clowns...Owen won two games while Rinoa always gets consolation price for being a panggulo in the game...not only the kids did enjoy the party, me and anthony as well of course as it is always nice to see old friends...nice to see you again Alex!:)

Rinoa did explored the place and tried out every rides inside more than her kuya, rinoa is really a daring and adventurous little girl, alang katakot takot at alang kapaguran! Owen just tried each ones then stayed in the firing balls the whole time.

after they got tired and got hungry, we had our dinner at Tsiboom.:)

Owen official first day of school.
He was so excited himself as much as mommy and daddy.
I can tell because the moment he knew that he's going to attend school already, he kept on talking about teachers and making friends daw at school. He did a diagnostic exam prior the school starts that's was why he knew already what his school looked like and how schooling will feels like. The teacher was really nice to him and he remembered that.

i caught Owen sang and danced, i happened to checked him out before the school hours ended. oh yeah...'m so happy with the sight of course!hehe

after my whole day training, my rascals fetched me up.
after a short stroll in Ayala Terraces and watching the bands performing we had our dinner in Sunbust. Sunburst is a new restaurant and home of fried chicken here in Cebu.
favorite ng mga bata second to Jollibee...at the same time ni daddy...they serve his ultimate favorite pwet ng manok!:D

and so this is how i looked like 'pag galing sa buong araw na paglalakad sa ilalim ng arawan...hehe (defensive sa hitsura:D)

coming from airport, i just brought my bagage to our house in Antipolo and after a light breakfast i headed out again. i got an errand to do in Ortigas, in Greenhills, in Ayala, and Mandaluyong. a pretty hectic day i got there...:D with all that i mentioned, believe me i still managed to have a sidetrip in MOA. i had coffee with peeps i met last summer...it always feel nice to get to know other people and it is so amazing that you can share laughters and even tears with those people you've just met once. i like that feeling of lightness towards others...yun bang parang you can talk everything under the sun like topics are neverending...hehe (too bad walang picture hehe) an encounter we all don't know if there a second time...hahaha.

at yun na nga after sa sobrang hectic na maghapon, ang huling destination ko eh sa GA Tower. lupaypay, sabog, gutom na gutom at lagkit na lagkit ang pakiramdam ko pagdating. hilamos kagad at hataw na ng kain...hehe. wag na muna magsukat!hahaha. ang meet-up eh sadya para masukatan kami para sa gown sa kasal ni micheru sa september. at syempre pa kahil wala ang sukatan pede ba naman ndi ko meet ang mga ito kada dalaw ko ng Manila?:D

Intosan Resort 5.17-18.2009

it was a pahabol family summer outing.
this was the only family get-away we had this summer since i and the children spent the summer in sanjamas.
i surf the net to a nice destination where we can go that is not so far from the city. and so this is where we spent the whole weekend, Intosan Resort, just an hour drive from our house.

my rascals had a really great weekend in this hidden gem (they call it) of Danao.

the first weekend after we arrived from a long vacation in Isla Ticao we went for a weekend vacation in Danao, one of the oldest cities in the country. before we headed out to the resort where we stayed in, we strolled first the city and we stopped by in one of the lasting legacies of Duranos...the Ramon Durano Foundation Compound. the place of a 2 hectare religious monument where you can see the Catholic church and amazingly built busts and statues of of all of the saints and popes from the early 200 AD all the way to those in the 1900s. a 14 small white buildings and huts which house the different station of the cross. you can found also the lifesize statues of the Holy Family, the Nativity scene, Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, and the Calvary Rock they say came all the way from Jerusalem.

though you can see the evidence that the place has not been kept very well, still the place is totally breathtaking, clearly one of the site you mustn't missed to visit when you happen to be here in Cebu.

kadarating lang namin from SanJaMas.
it was more of like a Father's Day than a Mother's Day.
tuwa tuwa ang daddy sa pagdating namin.
as early of 8am nasa bahay na kami. and right after then eh naglinis na ako ng buong kabahayan. one month and 10 days alang babaeng naglinis ng bahay so imagine that. done cleaning the whole house by nearly dinner time. waaahh then time to cook walang maluto walang laman ang ref. hahaha. buti at my plans naman pala magpakain sa labas ang daddy so ayun we end up having sweet stroll sa ayala at dinner in friday's.

as i've said the day was more of like a daddy's day, miss na miss ng mag-aama ang isa't isa. ayaw maghiwahiwalay muntik na ako maOP. hehe.

nways, it is nice to be back in daddy's arms. we miss you a lot daddy!:)

my coming to manila will not be complete if i'm not going to meet this peeps. as usual, a never ending laughter from kiteru and a blooper moments from me and erika. photographer jayson also were there and smiley danieru. si randy na natatakot na daw kay erika eh ndi umabot, and bing san who is always busy ay namiss ko uli. nways, there still next time na pede tayo magkita uli bing san! mishu again. c u by next week?! :)

Bantayan Island - Sunset and d'Jungle Dinner

After our whole day spent in Virgin Island, we made sure that we could go back to the resort early for the sunset. Our vacation has to end in a super short time and we should enjoy what is left of the Island that we could experience. Even you cannot witness the best sunset in Sta Fe like it is in Madridejos, the shades and color of it if not equally beautiful is still the best you can experience.

kahit maulan most of the days na nanduon kami, pede ba naman ndi maligo ang mga tsikiting ko na adik sa tubig?!lol

swimming will always be the happiest event of their lives. smiles and laughters captured by the camera can't deny it! lol

the pics of them in pajamas were all because of their sudden urge to go to swimming. as in pagkagising sa umaga sabay sabi ng "mommy let's go to beach" haha. actually walang araw na ndi sila nag-aaya magbeach at ito lang ang mga times na napapayag nila ako.

too bad that we did'nt able to go to the proud beaches that ticao has. maybe next time naming uwi

weekend, a day before kami umuwi ng SanJaMas nilabas muna namin si daddy.
we left him with sweet memories for we are going to be gone for a long time. umabot ng 1 month and 10 days to be exact. we just came back 10th of this month. we missed him a lot also, syempre!:D

Sky Experience Adventure @ Crown Regency Hotel and Towers

This is the highlight of their last day in Cebu, and of course for me as well who experienced it for the first time!

Oh only for the four of us since our two companion are both scared of heights.  They didn't even think about it, it was a big NO right away! 

As for me that would always want to experience new things, I didn't let this chance to pass.  Crown Regency Hotel and Towers is one of the tallest building in the country and just started its operation 3 years ago.  It is a 38-storey building that made its top floor into an amusement facility which includes a roller coaster that runs around the edge of the building and a stroll with a safety protection of a harness.

Sure thing we were all a little nervous, me nervous but excited at the same time.  Even when we were not yet starting to walk, I felt some tickling rush coming from my feet up to my head.  I said this is it, no backing out!
